ABOUT OUR PROPERTY
Whether visiting the valley for fishing, hiking, wildlife viewing, photography or a family vacation you will be comfortable and well situated at our property. Our private 22 acres is adjacent to Burnt Bridge conservancy, Tweedsmuir Provincial Park and crownland and just a 25 minute drive to the airport and grocery stores in Hagensborg.
We are a working horse farm offering trail rides and lessons most days on our sturdy and versatile Icelandics that guest are welcome to come by and visit.
There is a 60 x 60 foot organic garden that guests are free to gather fruits, veggies and herbs in season, a large firepit, orchard, lawn games, trails and a small farm shop with a few gift items and supplies.

Thunder Mountain Adventures and accommodation has three 14x16 glamping wall tents and one cabin for rent on our working Icelandic horse farm.
Enjoy camping in the wilderness and leaving all your camp gear at home.
Our glamping tents offer heated en suite bathrooms with semi-outdoor hot showers, wood burning stoves, Comfortable queen beds with down duvets and cotton sheets, towels, robes, WIFI, electricity, a private 8 by 14 covered private porch and use of the BBQ pavilion for dining, meal prep and storage
Our Thunder Mountain guest cabin has a full bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, private porch, TV, queen bed, pull out couch and double bed in the loft.
Both the cabin and tents come with mountain views and overlook the garden and paddocks.
